Day1 : Kigali Genocide Memorial & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Begin the day in Kigali with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving and educational experience that offers insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience. Afterward, depart for Uganda via the Cyanika or Katuna border and continue through the picturesque Kigezi Highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive in the evening, settle into your lodge, and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure ahead.

Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Begin the day early with a hearty breakfast before heading into the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Guided by experienced rangers, you’ll track and spend an hour with a habituated gorilla family an awe-inspiring moment in the heart of the jungle. After the trek and lunch at the lodge, check out and begin your scenic transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening. Check in at your lodge near the Mweya or Katunguru area and enjoy dinner as you relax after a day of adventure.

Day 3 : Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel

Rise early for a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and more. Later, head to the northern sector (Mweya) for a relaxing boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, known for its dense populations of hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Kalinzu Chimpanzee Trek & Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

After an early breakfast, proceed to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for a guided chimpanzee trekking experience. Walk through the tropical forest in search of chimps and other primates, accompanied by rich birdlife and lush flora. After the trek, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening, marking the end of your unforgettable primate and wildlife safari.
