This 4-day tour starts and ends in Kigali. Arrive at Kigali International Airport and transfer to Bwindi National Park for an overnight stay. Day 2 offers a once-in-a-lifetime mountain gorilla trekking experience. On Day 3, travel to Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second deepest lake, and relax with stunning island views. On the final day, return to Kigali for your outbound flight.

Tour Plan
Day 1 - Arrival at Kigali Airport and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Gorilla Specialist. Following a brief introduction, embark on a guided city tour of Kigali, exploring notable landmarks such as the Genocide Memorial Center and vibrant local markets. After enjoying lunch in Kigali, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival at your lodge, take time to relax.
Day 2 - Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National park
Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge before heading to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. Accompanied by expert guides, venture into the dense Bwindi forest to track mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Once the gorillas are located, enjoy an extraordinary hour observing and interacting with them. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relax for the rest of the evening.
Day 3 - Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will drive through the intriguing Kigezi terraced hills as you begin your transfer to Lake Bunyonyi known as the second-deepest lake in Africa. When you get there in the afternoon, you can take a boat ride (Boat Ride Safari) on the lake or take a nature walk to learn more about the second-deepest lake in Africa, which has roughly 29 islands. Here, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the islands in the lake from your lodge.
Day 4 - Transfer to Kigali international airport
After breakfast at 9:00 a.m., you will drive back to Kigali over the Kyanika border from Uganda to Rwanda 8. Enjoy lunch before heading to the airport for your departure.
